Describe your personal style:
My personal style is hard for me to describe. If you were asking about my design style, that's easy: minimalistic, monochromatic, and heavily influenced by light and environment. I would love to say that my personal style is the same, minimalistic and monochromatic, but it's not. I love wearing denim as much as I love wearing dresses. I love wearing bold colors as much as I love wearing black and white. Honestly, my style is as simple as this: if I like it, I wear it.

Favorite color and print to wear:
My favorite color(s) to wear is anything neutral (black, white, off-white, cream, beige, grey). My favorite print to wear currently is leopard. I'll wear a good leopard print any day of the week.
Go-to outfit for instant confidence and sophistication:
I'm all about a high-low moment. My favorite Levi's with a silk blouse and black leather boots OR a leather mini skirt with a graphic tee and strappy heels.

Fall is my favorite season because I LOVE LAYERS. I want to wear leather on top of denim on top of cashmere on top of cotton every single day.

Five classic essentials you think every human should own:
A worn-in leather jacket, a pair of high-waisted slim cut (not skinny, skinny) denim jeans, a well-made cotton t-shirt, black ankle boots, and a little black dress that is versatile enough to wear at an interview, at a (cocktail attire) wedding, or on a hot date. They exist -- trust me.

Advice to those establishing personal style:
Figure out what your TRUE sizes are! Nothing looks better than clothes that fit YOUR body! Tailoring something you love to fit you perfectly is always worth it. The pieces I own that I love the most -- the ones that I think are the most versatile and layer best -- fit me well and make me feel good about myself. Confidence speaks volumes!
When in doubt:
Tuck a nice, clean white t-shirt into high-waisted black denim, throw on a cute belt and a bold lip, and BOOM - magic.

Never be afraid to:
Ask for advice! If you're not sure what shoes to wear, if you're not sure if something fits you properly, if you're not sure if a look is appropriate for a particular occasion -- I guarantee you that your friend whose style you envy (or Tessie) won't lie to you!
